adventures

We left Irvine in the late afternoon after sleeping in from an evening of debauchery.

Pausing for a sunset pee break / glam shot session, we then powered to Las Vegas, where Jeremy won $100 while Brian and I patronized the bar. To better blend with the Vegas crowd, we got sleazy shirts on sale at Urban Outfitters.

The next day we drove through the Utah desert.

Civilization was sparse through the desert states.

Ten-cent-a-cup kool-aid refreshed us in Elsinore Utah, where we also ate lunch and mailed postcards. Houses sell for $10G there.

Although we could not divert and visit any of the natural parks, we appreciated this vista point overlooking Salt Flats.

Passing through the Rockies in the dark, I was surprised at how flat and rural eastern Colorado was. In Arriba CO we found this "delightfully creepy" clown museum.

Note the blackface clown tea set on the left side of the picture, in the middle vertically.
